  • 1 cup butter
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • Maraschino cherries

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350F.
Line cookie sheet with parchment or silicone lining.

Step 2

Beat butter and icing sugar. Add vanilla and beat. Add flour, and beat on medium for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Drop by teaspoon onto sheets 2" apart. Place 1/2 or quarter of cherries onto the centre of each cookie.

Step 4

Bake 13-15 mins. Cool on sheet for 5 mins before transferring to wire rack.
