Pretzel Bread

- 1 1/2 oz. fresh yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 tspns salt
- 1 egg
- 6 1/2-7 1/2 cups flour
- 1 egg yolk
- coarse salt

Step 1
Disslove yeast in the warm water. Pour this into a bowl and add sugar, salt, oil, egg and 3 cups of flour. mix until smooth. Keep adding flour and mixing until its somewhat of a stiff consistency. cover and let it rise for 2 hours in the refrigerator. roll out dough and make pretzels. brush egg over the pretzels and sprinkle salt. bake at 400F/200C for 15 minutes until golden brown and crispy on top.
