Squirrel Cookies

Just sugar cookies, but I found the recipe for Annorah's 6th birthday party and made squirrels (scaredy squirrels, that is :)
No need to chill or ice!

Ingredients

1 cup soft butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
food colouring if you're making squirrels
2 tsp baking powder
2 3/4 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

cream butter and sugar

Step 2

add vanilla, egg and food colouring (if you're using it :)

Step 3

mix dry ingredients and add until mixed

Step 4

roll to 1/8th inch, cut and bake at 400 degrees for 6-10 minutes
