Ingredients
- 2lb peeled shrimp
- 2 cans chicken and rice soup
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped okra
- 4 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 qt water
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp. file
Preparation
Step 1
Brown flour in oil, and add onions and celery sautéing lightly. Add soup, water, okra, shrimp, salt and pepper together. Next, add Worcestershire sauce and simmer for 1 hour. Turn off and add file. Serve with rice.
