1 cup of butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups of flour
2 tsp. of cream of tartar
1 tsp. of salt
1 tsp. of vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
add the well beaten eggs and flavoring
add the dry ingredients,sifted together
roll about 1/4 inch thick,cut with shaped cookie cutter and sprinkle with sugar
bake 10 mins. in a 375 degree oven till lightly golden brown
