- 1/2 (14 ounce size) vanilla caramels, (24 caramels), 2 tbsp. water, 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter, 1 1/2 cups toasted oat cereal, 12 small gumdrops.

Preparation
Step 1
Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper. Heat caramels and water in large saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in peanut butter until blended; remove from heat. Stir in cereal until evenly coated.
Step 2
Drop mixture by 12 rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Press 1 gumdrop into center of each cookie. Let stand until firm, about 30 minutes.
