  • 4 oz. add-ins (optional) such as mini-chocolate chips, walnuts, almonds, dried fruits, coconut

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 baking pan.

Step 2

Prepare the cupcake mix as directed on the package and bake 21 - 23 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out free of crumbs. set aside to cool.

Step 3

Prepare the frosting mix while the cake is baking. Set aside 1/4 of the frosting. Add the remaining frosting to the cake and combine until dough is formed. Take the dough and form 24 1-inch balls.

Step 4

Place into the freezer for about 30 minutes or until firm. Melt the remaining 1/4 frosting. Place a small amount of frosting in your hand and roll the ball of dough. just enough to coat it. Roll into the add-in of your choice.
