Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cups cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon confectioners sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350, spray 2 baking sheets with vegetable cooking spray.

Step 2

In medium bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Mix well, in large mixing bowl using an electric mixer set on medium, beat together sugar, and butter untill light and fluffy. Beat in milk and vanilla.

Step 3

Add egg whites to sugar mixture. 1 at a time beating well after each addition. At low speed beat in flour mixture untill just combined. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 1 inch apart into prepared baking sheets.

Step 4

Bake cookies until firm
