Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- Lemon juice
- 1 prepared 10” (25 cm) vanilla flan cake
- 1 can (300 mL) Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand®, caramelized
- 1 container (500 mL) non-dairy whipped topping
Preparation
Step 1
Slice bananas and dip them lightly in lemon juice to prevent browning. Arrange bananas over the flan, reserving a few for garnish.
2. Caramelize Eagle Brand to a pourable consistency Cool slightly. Spread the caramelized milk evenly over the sliced bananas.
3. Top with whipped topping and decorate with sliced bananas. Serve immediately, if possible. Refrigerate leftovers.
Garnish with either caramel drizzle or shaved chocolate *To caramelize Eagle Brand, use of the approved methods on the Eagle Brand Baking Tips page. DO NOT boil Eagle Brand in the can.
