These are great for breakfast on the run. Add any kind of dried fruit you like. They are amazing with dried cherries. I usually double the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar( I put a little less)
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1 diced apple
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • cooking spray

Step 1

Combine first six ingredients. Combine milk, butter and egg. Add milk to oat mixture, stir well. Add the raisins and walnuts. Pour oat mixture into a 8 inch square pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 375 F for 20 minutes.

Cook longer if you double the recipe.
