Ingredients

  • 1 pkg chocolate cake mix
  • 1 pkg chocolate instant pudding
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 bar unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 3 T butter
  • 2 to 3 T water
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 350F. grease and flour a 12in bunt pan. combine cake mix, pudding mix, milk, sour cream and eggs in a large mixing bowl. mix until just blended. stir in nuts and chocolate chips. pour into prepared pan and bake for 55-60 minutes. cool in pan for 20 minutes then invert onto wire rack to cool completely.

Step 2

melt baking chocolate and butter in a small sauce pan over low heat stirring until smooth. remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar alternately with water. stir in vanilla. pour over cooled cake.
