Ingredients

  • 6 bananas
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tblsp oil
  • ginger
  • garlic paste
  • chilli paste
  • few drops of red colour
  • garam masala and araroat
  • Gravy
  • onions
  • tomatoes
  • ginger
  • garlic paste
  • coriander powder
  • grevi masala
  • oil or ghee
  • salt
  • turmeric powder
  • cream

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and half boil bananas. Cut slices longitudinally so that remain in the shape of fish.

Step 2

Make a batter of all ingredients for fishes.

Step 3

Dip banana slices in this batter and deep fry it till golden brown. Keep it aside.

Step 4

Take some ghee or oil in a pan. Fry crushed onions,then add ginger garlic paste and simmer. Add crushed tomato and simmer. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, grevi masala,salt and chilli powder.

Step 5

Simmer until it leaves side.

Step 6

Add required amount of water to make grevi of desired thickness.

Step 7

At last add cream.

Step 8

To serve put banana fishes into gravy, bring to boil and put it in serving bowl. Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves and some cream over it.
