Step 1
In a large skillet cook the sausage, break the sausage up with a spoon. Cook until golden brown about seven minutes.
Step 2
Transfer the sausage into a bowl. Remove some of the fat from the skillet. Whisk the flour into the skillet. Pour the milk into the skillet and bring the gravy to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for a few minutes. Stir in the sausage and black pepper. Cut the biscuits in half, and cover in gravy, serve immediately.
