Great Grandma Reese's Fruity Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 c. torn leaves of romaine lettuce
  • 1 can 8 oz. mandarin orange segments
  • 2 TBS slivered almonds
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 1 TBS liquid drained from oranges
  • 1 TBS garlic flavored vinegar
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

In salad bowl, combine lettuce leaves and heaping tablespoon of orange segments from can and slivered almonds. Whisk together olive oil, 1 TBS drained liquid and vinegar. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour over salad ingredients and toss gently.
