Get PERFECT Winged Eyeliner with this SIMPLE TRICK!

We all know the struggles of winged eyeliner.

You watch the pros paint their beautiful strokes with ease; you practice for hours in front of the mirror with a q-tip and a bottle of makeup remover at the ready... But still, something goes wrong.

Every. Single. Time.

How do all the other girls make it look so pretty?!

Well, thanks to this beauty-savvy YouTuber, the mysterious cat eye just got a whole lot easier. She shows us her trick to getting those beautiful lines just right...

 STEP ONE:

She starts by placing dots along her eyelid, spacing them out as pictured. As with every one of these steps, make sure you take your time to get it just right. Winged eyeliner takes enough skillful concentration as it is; there's no need to rush yourself!

STEP TWO:

Once you reach the outside edges of your eye, you then place your final dots to mark the place for the pointed tip of the winged liner. Try to keep it in line with your eyebrow so that the shapes compliment each other.

STEP THREE:

Now, connect the dots! You now form the hollow outline for your eyeliner. When you reach the second-to-last dot, form the little crook that will make the beginning of the winged part. Then connect the final two dots with a simple straight line as pictured.

STEP FOUR:

Now the fun part: fill in the outline. Use the side of your eyeliner pen to get the fullest, inkiest strokes for a darker and more dramatic look.

STEP FIVE:

Once both eyes are done, she finishes off by enhancing the boldness of the line with a liquid or a gel liner.

STEP SIX:

The last step is simply to sharpen up the lines and touch up any little flaws. Use a q-tip with a bit of makeup remover to make your final winged result absolutely crisp and flawless.
