RECALL: Deli Products Pulled From Shelves

(July 4, 2017) Recall due to undeclared allergens.

Diebergs Markets, a St. Louis based supermarket chain, has issued a recall for deli products in all of their retail stores. The products contain undeclared fish and undeclared milk allergens. This can pose a life-threatening risk to sensitive individuals with these allergies.

While no illnesses have been reported related to the mislabeling, consumers should take the necessary precautions.

Products Affected

Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap (10-ounce package); “Use By” date: 7/2/17 and earlier
Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad (14-ounce and 8.5-ounce packages): “Use By” date: 7/1/17 and earlier
Classic Pinwheel Appetizer Wrap Platter (12-count); “Use By” date: 7/2/17 and earlier
Santa Fe Grilled Chicken Wrap (11-ounce package): “Use By” date: 7/2/17 and earlier
Santa Fe Grilled Veggie Wrap (12-ounce package): “Use By” date: 7/2/17 and earlier

Steps to Take

These quick and easy chicken quesadillas are the perfect, last-minute family dinner!

INGREDIENTS:

2 chicken breasts
1/2 cup of tomato sauce
1/2 cup of chives, chopped
1 tsp. of Mexican spice mix
4 Tortillas
Cheddar
Salt, to taste

METHOD:

Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
Enjoy!
