Chocolate ganache

Chocolate ganache is the base for many popular desserts, as well as a common frosting or decoration. It’s used as a base for chocolate mousse, macarons and custards.

You can also use ganache to make homemade chocolates and chocolate candies.

To make ganache at home, start by heating heavy cream. At the same time, finely grate some dark chocolate and place into a large bowl. Then slowly add the cream to the chocolate, being careful to not introduce too much air. Once the chocolate has melted, the ganache is done!
