Baked tomato confit

Take a bunch of regular or cherry tomatoes, slice in half and season with garlic slivers and oregano. Add to a baking dish, top with olive oil and a sprinkling of sugar. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about an hour, or until the tomatoes are caramelized.
