Mars Rice Krispies

Ingredients

  • 8 Mars bars
  • 2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 package chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Melt the Mars bars, marshmallows and butter over medium heat, stirring often, until smooth.

Step 2

Combine Rice Krispies and the melted Mars bar mixture. pour into greased pan and press down with parchment paper.

Step 3

Spread the package of chocolate chips evenly overtop of the Rice Krispies, and put under boiler for 30 seconds- 1 minutes to melt the chocolate chips.

Step 4

Spread chocolate and let cool in the fridge 30 minutes before serving.

If you don't want to use a greased pan, covering the bottom of the pan with parchment works well also.

If you want a bar that stays together more, add in more marshmallows. The Mars bars by themselves can be a bit gooey.
