  • 1lb gound beef
  • 1tsp minced garlic
  • 16oz can tomato sauce
  • 6oz can tomato paste
  • 1cup water
  • 4oz can sliced mushrooms
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1tsp dried oregano
  • 8oz pkg lasagna uncooked
  • 2cups shredded mozzerella cheese
  • 12oz container cottage cheese
  • 1/2cup parmesan cheese

Step 1

Brown beef with garlic; drain and spoon into a large bowl.

Step 2

Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, mushrooms, salt, and oregano, mixing well.

Step 3

Spread one-quarter of the meat sauce in the bottom of a crock pot; arrange one-third of the uncooked lasagna over the sauce, breaking if necessary.

Step 4

Combine cheeses; spoon one-third over lasagna layer. Repeat layers twice; top with remaining meat sauce.

Step 5

Cover and cook on low setting until lasagna is tender, 4-5 hours.
