Garlic Bread Dip

This dip is cooked inside a Round loaf of Sheepherders Bread or a Round loaf of Sourdough bread. If you like garlic and cheese then you will love this Great with Chips or Crackers or the Bread it is cooked in

Ingredients

  • 1 ROUND LOAF SHEEPHERDER or SOURDOUGH BREAD
  • 1/4 POUND BUTTER
  • 1 BUNCH OF GREEN ONIONS CHOPPED
  • 12 CLOVES OF GARLIC MINCED
  • 1 8 oz CREAM CHEESE ROOM TEMPERATURE
  • 1 16 oz SOUR CREAM
  • 1 CUP SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE
  • 1 10 oz JAR CHOPPED ARTICHOKE HEARTS DRAINED

Preparation

Step 1

Turn oven to 350 degrees

Cut a hole on top of Bread and remove the soft insides Save Top and the soft insides
Melt Butter in a pan and saute Onions and Garlic until soft Cut the Cream Cheese into chunks and put it in a mixing bowl Combine the Cream Cheese Sour Cream Cheddar Cheese and the Artichoke Hearts Now add the Onions and Garlic and mix thoroughly

Step 2

Now put the mixture inside of the Bread Bowl And put the top back on the Bread
Wrap it in a DOUBLE layer of foil

Step 3

Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees
for 2 hours
