There are as many penis myths as there are grains of sand at the beach, but we have gotten to the bottom of the matter and found the most interesting penis facts:

Fact 1: According to a review of 17 different studies that surveyed 15,000 different men, when erect the average penis measures 5.2 inches in length and 4.6 inches in circumference. While it is commonly thought that height and foot size can be an indicator of penis size, this was found to be untrue. 

Fact 2: From 0 to 100 in 3 seconds! A man can become fully erect within just 3 seconds! 

Fact 3: Depending on his age, a man's penis can become erect up to 11 times a day, and about 5 times at night.

Fact 4: The penis contains about about 4,000 nerve endings which provide sensual pleasure. In comparison, the clitoris contains twice as many, at about 8,000 nerve endings. Good to be a lady!

Fact 5: Only about half of all penises are straight, and many of those hang slightly to the left or the right. Slightly curved penises are extremely common, and some men even find creative ways to use the curvature to their benefit in bed!

Fact 6: The penis can shrink with age, if it does not become erect regularly. So ladies, we know what that means.

Fact 7: About half of all men are dissatisfied with their penis and would like a bigger one. No real surprises there, despite the fact that about 85% of women couldn't care less about penis size. 

Fact 8: Smoking can shorten penis length by up to half an inch! This is because smoking affects good blood flow, and erections are all about blood flow. Yet another great reason to quit.
