Dandelion Wine

Ingredients

  • 4 gts Dandelion heads
  • 6 gts cold water
  • 4 pd white sugar
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 yeast cakes

Preparation

Step 1

BRING TO BOIL LET SIMMER ½ HOUR

Step 2

Strain into crock three collender when luke warm, add 4 pd white sugar, juice of two lemons rind of one 2 royal yeast cakes dissolved in warm water

Step 3

Let stand for 5 or 6 days stir every day from bottom strain through cheese cloth and bottle cork lightly let stand for ten days
