Japanese Style Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. chicken wings
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • Sauce:
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 cup vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Dip wings in slightly beaten egg and then in flour.

Step 2

Fry in butter until deep brown and crisp.

Step 3

Place in shallow roasting pan.

Step 4

Mix all sauce ingredients together and pour over chicken wings.

Step 5

Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.

Step 6

Baste with sauce during cooking.
