Jello Pudding Easter Eggs

These are fun to make and are less sweet then the Carbury Easter Eggs you buy at the store.

If you don't have a mold you can use a tablespoon and mold it that way.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (4 serving) Jell-O instant pudding
  • 1/3 cup Boiling Water
  • 1/3 cup Margarine or Butter
  • 3 cups Icing Sugar
  • 6 squares Baker's White or Semi-Sweet Chocolate
  • (you can also use chocolate chips)

Preparation

Step 1

Stir pudding, water and margarine in a large bowl until smooth. Mix in icing sugar by cupfulls, stiring until mixture forms a ball.

Step 2

Form into 1 1/2 inch egg shapes. Refrigerate until firm.

Step 3

Partially melt chocolate in medium bowl in microwave until 2/3 melted. Remove from microwave and continue stiring until all chocolate is melted and smooth.

Step 4

Take the pudding eggs out of the fridge and dip into the melted chocolate; decorate with coloured icing or sprinkles.

For multi-coloured eggs, make 2 fillings using 2 puddings flacours. Roll small centres from 1 flavour and surround outside with second flavour.
