Jenny's Dirty Rice

2cups of rice,2 lbs ground beef/turkey,your choice,1lb ground pork,2 large onions chopped,1 bell pepper chopped, 1can cream of mushroom,1can cream of celery,and 1 large can Are fresh chicken broth.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef or ground turkey, ground turkey is healthier,1lb ground park,1can cream of mushroom,1 can cream of celery,2 large onions chopped,1 large can of chicken broth are if available fresh chicken stock.1 bell pepper chopped, seasoning of choice I prefer Tony's but if not available salt pepper will do. 2 cups of rice.

Preparation

Step 1

Boil 2 cups rice, while rice is boiling are steaming saute your onions ,bell pepper and ground meats in a skillet till nice and brown and onions are crystalized.

Step 2

When rice is cooked and meat is done add together in a pot on medium heat. Add your cream of mushroom,cream of celery and chicken broth .

Step 3

Let it simmer on low heat stir every few mins to prevent sticking. Once moisture is dissolved but not dryed out take heat off. Let cool for about 10 mins.

Step 4

Serve with a side of baked chicken or meat of choice. Even alone as it is a full meal by itself.
