Ingredients

  • 16 oz mini marshmallows
  • 2 to 5 T water
  • 2 lbs powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable shortening

Preparation

Step 1

melt marshmallows and 2 T water in a large pot over medium heat stirring constantly. Adding more water if needed. Once marshmallow are melted slowly stir in the powdered sugar. remove from heat. grease a large work area and your hands with shortening. turn out mixture onto table and kneed until smooth. MIXTURE WILL BE HOT! let cool then wrap in plastic wrap and seal in baggie. Refrigerate until needed.
