Gourmandize /gu̇r-mänd-īz/ : v. (without object) : to enjoy good food!

 Gourmandize is a recipe sharing site fueled by member contributions. Launched in April 2013 by 750 Grams International, the creators of one of the largest cooking websites in France, 750g.com. Taking the same concept of sharing one's culture, family and memories through food, Gourmandize was created with the same ideals.

The site name is rooted with the word Gourmand, literally meaning a person who loves food. The suffix ‘ize’ was added because every member is able to personalize their profiles with interests, culinary adventures, as well as the ability to link each profile and submitted recipe to a personal food blog or website.

What makes us different? 

The site is overseen by a local webmaster along with a multinational team of food lovers representing seven different countries. Each contributing team member has a unique background and expertise in food, and is able to represent many of the rich and diverse cultures that keep America’s food scene thriving.
