If you want that model's, friend's, gym rat's, yogi's flat stomach, take a look at their diets. Chances are they include these 15 foods.

Green vegetables

The 5-a-day message for getting your fruits and vegetables isn't baloney, it's brilliant. Eating vegetables daily is essential for having and maintaining a flat stomach. Green veggies are best for their rich fiber content, so don't skimp on green beans or leafy salads.

On the other hand, limit raw vegetables because they're more difficult to digest, as well as beans and legumes, which are high in cellulose (insoluble fibers) and can lead to irritated intestines and bloating (chickpeas, lentils, dried beans). Unfortunately, cabbage is also difficult to digest and should be avoided if you're die-hard about getting a flat stomach.
