Whole Wheat Bread

A yummy daily bread
- 2 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
- 1-1/4 (.25 ounce) packages active dry yeast
- 3 tablespoons and 1-3/4 teaspoons honey
- 3-1/3 cups bread flour
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons and 1-3/4 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2-1/3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon butter, melted
French Bread

Yummy special occasion bread
- 2 cups warm water, divided (110 degrees F)
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast (or use two .25-ounce packages yeast)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 5 1/2-6 1/2 cups bread flour (more if needed)
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
Garlic and Wine Steamed Clams

- 3 dozen hard shelled clams, well scrubbed
- 1 tablespoon oats
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 cloves garlic, peeled & minced
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup wine
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- salt & pepper
Dry Smoked Salmon

Slice meat down to skin but not through, in 2 inch strips
- 1c Demamara sugar
- 1/2c Coarse pickling salt
- 1/2c maple syrup
