Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1/2 lb of bacon
  • 2 onions
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 1/4 cup of cream
  • Nutmeg
  • parmesan
  • Coarse salt
  • pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a skillet, fry the bacon over medium heat with a little oil. Do not let them get too crisp, but just brown. Then reduce the heat and add cream, mix all for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 2

In another pan, fry the onions on medium heat (previously peeled and cut into thin strips) with a knob of butter. Wait until they become golden. Remove them from the pan and then add them to bacon cream. Mix.

Step 3

Finally boil water in a saucepan with a pinch of coarse salt. Once the water is boiling, cook the pasta to your liking (al dente, for example).

Step 4

In a large bowl, pour the pasta and then the bacon onion cream mixture and mix. Pepper to taste.

Step 5

Finally, place the egg yolk on top of the dish and stir with a wooden spoon, turning in the same direction. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Bon appetit!
