Savory Turkey burgers

Hearty burgers that don't really need the bun!

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground turkey, fresh parsley and fresh chives (chopped- 1/4 cup ea.), 1 clove/ garlic- minced, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs, 2 egg whites- lightly beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Put all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Wash your hands. Mix all the ingredients well, with your hands.

Step 2

Form 12 burgers out of the mixture.

Step 3

Spray a large frying pan with cooking spray; Preheat to med. heat.

Step 4

Fry burgers approx. 5-6 min. on ea. side, turning once. Cook until 180 degrees F, then serve.

I do not serve these burgers on buns. I serve with French fries and a side salad.
