Basic Cheesecake

This cheesecake can use any kind of crust an can be topped in any way to your taste!!

Ingredients

  • Crust-
  • 1 1/4 cup cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Filling-
  • 2 pkgs (250g each) Cream Cheese
  • 3/4 cup white or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350•

Step 2

Mix cookie crumbs with butter and press onto the bottom of a 9" springform pan.

Step 3

Beat cream cheese, sugar an vanilla, until well blended. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Add the sour cream and beat well.

Step 4

Pour onto the filling. Bake for 40 minutes or until the center is almost set.

Step 5

Run a knife around the edges to loosen the cake. Refrigerate 4 hours.

Step 6

Spread with whatever topping or pie fillings.
Garnish as desire.

Can be made into individual servings by making this recipe in a muffin tin!!
