                    Ingredients
- Tuar dal- 1/8 cup
 - Moong dal- 1/8 cup
 - Urad dal- 1/8 cup
 - Masoor dal- 1/8 cup
 - Chana dal- 1/8 cup
 - Tomato-3
 - Onion- 1/2
 - Thin sliced green chilli- 2
 - Chilli powder- 1 tsp.
 - Salt
 - Cocum- 1/2 inch ball
 - Jaggery - 1 tsp
 - For sauteeing:
 - Ghee
 - Mustard seeds
 - Jeera
 - Ginger
 - To Garnish:
 - Coriander leaves
 
Preparation
Step 1
Pressure cook all dals together
Step 2
In a pan, saute mustard, jeera and ginger in ghee.
Step 3
Add chillies and onion and fry till translucent.
Step 4
Add tomatoes and chilli powder. Allow it to cook on slow flame for 10 min.
Step 5
Add cocum at last with jaggery.
Step 6
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Instead of cocum, lemon juice or tamarind extract can be added.
