Slow Cooker Teriayki Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1-1 1/2 lbs. Chicken breasts
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 1/2 C. gluten free soy sauce
  • 3 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • fresh cracked pepper
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. water

Preparation

Step 1

Put everything except cornstarch and water in crockpot. Cook on low for 3-4 hours.

Step 2

Once done remove chicken and cut into bite size pieces.

Step 3

Pour liquid in medium saucepan, bring to a poil. Mix cornstarch and water and add to saucpan. Reduce to a simmer and allow to thicken for 2-3 minutes stirring frequently.

Step 4

Add chicken to saucepan. Coat and heat through.

Serve over rice.
