Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/4 lb. ground veal
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small apple, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. horseradish
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp. savory seasoning
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup consommé

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except consommé. When thoroughly mixed, form into small balls. Put into a pan and add undiluted consommé and simmer for 30 min.
