Linguine and Clam Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbs of butter
  • 2 Tbs of olive oil
  • 1/8 cup parsley
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine (chablis)
  • 2 cans whole clams, 1 can minced clams with juice from all
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion, garlic, and butter until tender. Stir in parsley, oregano, and wine, stir in and simmer a few minutes to blend flavors.

Step 2

Add clams with juice. Let simmer for 4 minutes to combine flavors. Salt and pepper to desired taste.
