Ingredients

  • Unsweetened almond milk
  • Mix of any berries – Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, and/or Blueberries
  • Ground flax seed powder
  • Ice cubes (if you didn’t use frozen berries)

Preparation

Step 1

Pour 8 ounces of unsweetened almond milk into a blender.

Step 2

You MUST grind your flax seeds, as the seeds won’t get absorbed in your body. So if you have them in seed form, use a spice grinder (or a coffee grinder) to make them into powder – empty one tablespoon into the almond milk.

Step 3

Dump the berries in, if they’re not all frozen, you may want to add more ice cubes, to make a cold smoothie.
