Want to LOSE WEIGHT? Skip dinner altogether, this study says.

A new study presented on November 3rd at The Obesity Society Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana has found that eating only between 8am and 2pm, then fasting for 18 hours burns more fat and keeps appetite levels stable throughout the day.

According to the study which was conducted using human trials, eating dinner very early, or actually skipping it all together is a way of optimizing the body's metabolism, which is more active in the morning.

Eating earlier in the day may also reduce the risk of developing a range of chronic diseases, although these findings were based on trials conducted with rodents.

This is certainly interesting information, but as the average American eats between 8am and 8pm and we can't see it being easy to adjust these rhythms so radically.

What do you think? Would you be able to stick to this regime?

We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section.
