Beauty Vlogger Opens Up About Her Lip And Brow Tattoo Horror Story

Australian beauty guru Stephanie Lange opens up about her cosmetic tattoos gone totally wrong. Her story is a cautionary tale for other women who are thinking about doing the same.

Stephanie Lange, 29, is quickly becoming one of the hottest names on YouTube. With over a million followers and an impeccable face, she's the prime example of a successful beauty guru. You would never guess that she spent thousands of dollars on a botched cosmetic tattoo job not too long ago.

Having over-plucked her eyebrows when she was younger, Stephanie wanted to achieve fuller eyebrows without make-up. You can do this with a trendy semi-permanent tattoo technique known as microblading. The result was nothing like the lush, Cara Delevigne-esque eyebrows the tattoo parlor had advertised. Rather, they started off looking like "massive black bricks." The ink soon faded, and her eyebrows turned sparse with an odd orange tint.

But the story doesn't end there! Stephanie, who suffers from chronically dry lips, wanted to give her naturally pale pucker a deeper tint without the use of lipstick. Even though she made sure to tell the tattoo artist what she wanted, she ended up with an orange-y, overdrawn lip tattoo that looks almost like a rash. What a disaster!

Luckily, another cosmetic tattoo artist heard what happened and tried to repair some of the damage. Although her eyebrows have improved, her lips are still not back to their natural state. Good news for Stephanie: neither tattoo is permanent and should fade over time.

For anyone considering getting any cosmetic tattoos done, Stephanie urges you to take the company's photos with a grain of salt. She tells her viewers, "If you are thinking about it, be very very careful about where you go, do very thorough research and if you can, look at people in real life that have had work done at the same place before you do it to your own face."
