Simmered carrots in sweet/spicy sauce

Ingredients

  • 7 oz carrots
  • 4/5 cups of stock
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2/3 tsp salt
  • Ginger

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and dice carrots into small cubes

Step 2

Simmer carrots in stock until half done. Add sugar and finely chopped ginger. Continue simmering until all liquid has evaporated.
