Maple- Orange Prune Jingle Bells Pastries

These pastries are easy and fun to make with the kids
- Pastry:
- 4 cups al- purpose flour, sifted
- 4 tsp. orange extract
- 2 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 8 oz. cold butter, cut into small pieces
- Prune filling:
- 1 ½ cups dried prunes
- 2 cups cold water
- ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Butter for greasing the pan
- Christmas cookie cutters
