Pal payasam

Dry roast semiya till golden brown
- semiya 1 cup
- sugar1 and half cup
- ghee 1/4 cup
- water 1 cup
- milk 2 cups
- elachi 1 spoon
Thenga boli

Add jaggery to just enough water; stir in low heat till it dissolves
- Grated coconut 1 cup
- Jaggery 1/2 cup
- Ghee for frying
- Maida 2 cups
- Kesari powder to add colour
- Salt 1 pinch
- Elachi 1 pinch
- Oil 2 tablespoon
Boli (chana dal boli)

Dry roast Chana dal and soak in water for 1 hour
- Chana dal 1 cup
- Jaggery 3/4 cup
- Coconut grated 1/4 cup
- Elachi 1/2 spoon
- Ghee 1 tablespoon
- Maida 2 cups
- Kesari powder to add colour
- Salt 1 pinch
- Oil 2 tablespoon
Thiruvathirai kali...a sweet rice pudding

Dry roast rice and moong dal till light brown
- Rice 1 cup
- Jaggery 1 cup
- Ghee 1/4 cup
- Moong dal 1 tablespoon
- Water 3 cups
Thirati pal...A milk sweet.

In a deep pan, simmer milk stirring continously till it forms a thick paste
- Milk 1/2 litre or 2 1/2 cups.
- Sugar 1/4 cup.
Kadambha urundai...A healthy mix.

- Almonds, cashews, pistachios- 1 cup
- Jaggery 1 cup
- Elaichi (Cardamom powder) 1 teaspoon
Aval payasam

- Aval (flattened rice) 1 cup
- sugar 1 and half cup
- ghee 1/4 cup
- milk 3 cups

Rawa payasam

Sweet Aval

- Butter- 1 tablespoon
- Coconut shreds- 1 tablespoon
- Raisins- 1/4 cup
- Milk- 1 cup
Carrot halwa
