Cherry Drink

One of your best allies this season to feel light and combat the discomfort of swelling caused by fluid retention and heat is the humble cherry. This sweet, juicy fruit is packed with anthocyanins and vitamin C. Anthocyanins—the pigments that give cherries and other berries their rich color—help neutralize free radicals, protecting your cells from premature aging. They also support healthy circulation, improve blood pressure, and enhance the elasticity of blood vessels, contributing to reduced inflammation and cholesterol levels.

But that’s not all—cherries can also help regulate blood sugar, protect your eyesight and memory, and, of course, they’re absolutely delicious.

Here’s a refreshing way to enjoy them this season:

Ingredients (for 1 serving):

  • ½ cup natural cherry juice
  • 1 tablespoon magnesium powder
  • ½ cup soda or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes, to taste
  • Fresh cherries, for garnish
  • Fresh rosemary (optional)

Preparation:

In a cocktail shaker, combine the cherry juice, magnesium powder, and soda. Shake well.

Fill a glass with ice cubes, halved and pitted cherries, and a sprig of rosemary if using.

Pour the mixture into the glass and enjoy.

This vibrant drink isn’t just refreshing—it’s also a great ally for relaxation and sleep, thanks to the calming effects of magnesium.
