This BALL SACK could save lives
Look familiar? The latest "must have" in cyclist safety is a very, very special object: a pair of artificial balls designed to dangle alluringly underneath your bicycle seat.
The unusual product was the brainchild of two Canadian designers who launched the project with crowdfunding.
If you're wondering how a couple of artificial balls under a saddle of a bike could possibly help with road safety, well, as you see in the picture, it's not just a couple of balls, but a couple of bright balls.
"Bike Balls naturally bob-around while you ride" the website proudly states. "boosting your visibility and safety in a hilarious way."
The combined effect of light and movement are intended to attract the attention of motorists who, intrigued, slow to get a better look.
Slower drivers = safer roads for everybody.
And you can't argue with that.
