MAIL ORDER BABY: New app lets you shop for sperm donors
It seems inevitable... after all you can do everything from order food, trade stocks, make doctors appointments and book holidays from your phone, so why not find your dream sperm donor too?
A British company, London Sperm Bank Donors has launched a new app that allows hopeful parents to find the sperm donor of their dreams, from the convenience of their mobile.
Instead of swiping left or right as in Tinder, users filter available profiles according to their medical history, occupation, education, height, religion, nationality and race. They can't see a photo of the prospective donor, but they can access an elaborate description and if they are really lucky, a sketch.
