McDonald's Reveals What Your Potato Chips Are Made of

In an effort to improve their public image, the fast food giant has decided to reveal in detail the ingredients and processes with which they make their famous products. Media attention has quickly centered on their famous French fries. How do you get them so perfect? Why do they never turn out the same when you make them at home?

Well the good news is that there are real potatoes inside the fries. The bad news is that there ae no less than 18 other ingredients. Yes, you read that right, eighteen!

These include various oils, and several chemicals that adds flavor, an anti-foaming agent that keeps oil from splattering, and another that is specifically designed to stop "the potatoes from going gray". Plus, of course, plenty of preservatives.

This is not exactly the result we were looking for!

Well, it looks like far from improving its public image through this gesture of transparency, McDonald's has landed themeslves in the center of another controversy!
