Lets get to teh bottom of this strange sounding diet..

The main idea is to replace one meal a day with mushrooms, for 14 consecutive days. It all sounds pretty simple, right? However, the particularity of this diet (and the reason why it's causing such a fuss) is that it can supposedly help you lose weight from the waist, arms and hips, but NOT the bust. In addition, you can prepare the mushrooms as you wish, as long as they are the main ingredient of the food. 


But ... can it really work?

It seems that replacing a meal with mushrooms is actually quite effective for losing weight, as they have high protein and nutrient content, but few calories.

However, the part that is probably a myth is that you will only lose weight from specific body parts. How and where you store fat basically comes down to genetics, so while mushrooms certainly be good for you, they can't transform you into a Kim Kardashian overnight!
