Hard-boiled eggs

Hard-boiled eggs should never ever be reheated in the microwave because they will explode as soon as you try to crack open the shell. This is due to the formation of small water pockets in the heated egg yolk, which are essentially hidden balls of energy that will boil and explode when the yolk is disturbed. Not only is this incredibly dangerous due to the flying egg shells, but also the contents of the egg are extremely hot, so you can get burned pretty badly.
