Use Herbs or Lettuce as Both Edible & Decorative Elements

Fresh herbs are a great way to add some nice pops of color to your cheese board, especially if most of your cheeses ended up being a similar tone. Adding a bit of salad in a light vinaigrette is also a good idea. Of course, people can eat the herbs and salad if they want! Regardless, both are useful for separating the cheeses and other food items on the board, and for adding an overall decorative theme.
